I suppose I could get interested in attending a Bruins game this year
Except that they stink on ice and will continue to do so until the owners spend some money on offense.
And that the cheapest seats positioned so that you can both see the game and not be inundated with cursing and spilled beer are $46 each.
Thank you, but no.

I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Buy the really cheap seats and ear plugs, and swath yourself with bubble wrap.gsabc wrote:And that the cheapest seats positioned so that you can both see the game and not be inundated with cursing and spilled beer are $46 each.

If I wanted the cursing and spilled stuff, I'd go to the Chris Rock/Gallagher double bill. The hockey game I can watch on cable. I already pay for that.silvercamaro wrote:Buy the really cheap seats and ear plugs, and swath yourself with bubble wrap.gsabc wrote:And that the cheapest seats positioned so that you can both see the game and not be inundated with cursing and spilled beer are $46 each.

I go to the local AHL (one level below NHL) team games. Not that I really have much choice since we don't have an NHL team but the prices are much lower. We sit three rows from the ice behind one of the goals in seats that cost $19 at the gate. There are $14 seats up a little higher.
Pretty good deal to see pretty good hockey.

Yeah, we've got a couple of minor league teams within the same driving distance as Boston. Not the Baby Bears in Providence, but lower down the ranks. I may hit one of those this year and keep track of the players as they advance upward.andrewjackson wrote:I go to the local AHL (one level below NHL) team games.
