No. No Purdue connections. 19 questions left...

This whole guessing game could spawn some gratuitous posts, y'know.

P.S. I forgot to ask thguy65/Uly what the heck a "gus" is. Here we go...

It involves bored numerology. It's also a way to gratuitously inflate post counts. So when there is a gus hunt we can go postal.

O-man would be a perfect speechwriter. Uly, since he's your poorer version, could you chat him up a bit and suggest he needs to support our planks? GASSS and PASSSOUT in case you forgot. Candidacy. Elections?

Game show contestants should not have agents.
When I went to the auditions for "1 vs. 100", back before it had ever aired, I ran into the same kind of thing.

There was a group of about 200 people milling around, waiting to be let inside, and I noticed that the vast majority were very good-looking young people. One young woman asked me if my "agent" sent me. Turns out that most of the people there were [gasp!] out-of-work actors and musicians who were referred by their agents.

And was their agent expecting a cut of the greenroom meals?

I wasn't sure - there were references to several gameshows in the thread.

I might just mosey on up there, then, and give it a go. Seems like a pretty informal setting.

I received the e-mail as well. Interesting how they now say 3:30 to 6:30 PM instead of 3:30 and 6:30 PM

Personal update:
AP Anthony called me around noon today to get more information to "package" me for a pitch to the producers.
We just talked about some items on my application (job and education history, my interesting anecdote about my brief interaction with at CSI trying to process a grocery store sliding door while I was trying to get inside to do my shopping, and what I'd do with the money). Fortunately, he did not ask me any questions about my game show history.

Onward and upward, I hope!
