To the extent that life expectancy is extended on the average, by excluding deaths due to infectious diarrheas at age two, or tuberculosis at age twenty, then the benefit is fairly clear, so long as one believes in the benefit of human life at all.
I will read the rest of the thread in detail presently.
I have dealt with most of the issues both professionally and personally in several ways, and I could write a book, at least metaphorically.
