I usually map out 7-11's in the area and take the girls and their friends on a Grand Slurpee Tour.
Maddie has to go to work today. As part of her "Careers" summer school class, she has to shadow somebody in one of the careers that potentially could fit with her skills.
Based on her test results she was told that she could pretty much do anything, but being a Lawyer, Accountant, or Actuary would be the best three potential jobs for her.

I went out of my way to find WaWa's around here until a couple months ago when the stopped selling decaf hazelnut coffee. It's hard to find anywhere with flavored decaf, Wawa's was very good. I remember taking a test like that when I was a sophomore. My results said that I had an almost perfect match to "male lab technician." Since I couldn't meet the first part of the job description, I passed on the last part as well. Besides, I already knew that I didn't want to be anybody's technician, although I was willing to be the indispensable reason for the whole damn lab.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:

Just finished my first one at the store around the corner from work. I'll have to go to their website and find more locations on my route home. I know for sure there is 1 more, but I need to see if I can find any more.

Cal, I had to look this up because I was sure I remembered 7-11 selling Icees before there were Slurpees. A Slurpee is a frozen carbonated beverage sold by 7-Eleven. In 1967[1], 7-Eleven licensed the product from the ICEE Company, and began selling it as the Slurpee.

From the blurb you posted form WikiPedia, though, it still sounds like the product has always been called a Slurpee at 7-11. If 7-11 sold ICEEs prior to 1967, and only got an agreement to change the name that year, the wiki article is poorly written.

I thought I saw the decaf hazelnut recently in Millville, NJ - our pit stop on the way to Wildwood if we use Route 55. Around us and in TLAF's old neighborhood, the Wawas outnumber the 7-11s. Easily. I'd have to go three or four miles to see a 7-11. I can walk to the Wawa.
Near work, which is an older inner suburb, there is a balance of 7-11 & Wawas. Anything built within the last several years has been a Wawa.
Near my friend Lori's house, there are relatively few Wawas. BUT, a little north of her is one of the original Wawa Farms stores.
