top o' the mornin'®
Well, it's Friday and that generally means a pretty quiet day around the ol' cubicle farm, which is a good thing considering that yesterday I was given a list of roughly 200 names of people who are users of a particular government Web site. I'm supposed to go through the list and determine if these individuals really do need access or whether their accounts should be closed. Why am I being asked to do this? Because someone in Washington knows my name and has relied on me in the past for other things and figured I could handle this also. I should point out that these 200 or so people are in my district, which makes it a little easier.

It's ok to leave me off the list.earendel wrote:Well, it's Friday and that generally means a pretty quiet day around the ol' cubicle farm, which is a good thing considering that yesterday I was given a list of roughly 200 names of people who are users of a particular government Web site. I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Gonna be REALLY quiet around here. Operations manager is out, purchasing manager is out, my quality manager is out, one of the QA techs is over in our other building for the day ... I'm not even sure that the boss is coming in today.earendel wrote:Well, it's Friday and that generally means a pretty quiet day around the ol' cubicle farm, ...

I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

So much for quiet. Box of customer material came in and started leaking water on the floor when our receiver picked it up. Boss came in, is heading overseas to visit another customer, and can't find our company's presentation disk. With no one else in QA here, I'm getting all the document requests. I've been hopping today.gsabc wrote:Gonna be REALLY quiet around here.
