No, I mean I stayed at the hotel and watched the NASCAR race on TV (I believe it was the first race at one of the California tracks). I can even pull the date for you, June 22, 1997 (I can remember each day we saw the Rockies games, so I can pinpoint which week each year we were there!). I have seen the Hill Climb on ESPN, though. That's a terrifying drive going 30 mph, let alone racing like a maniac up there!!!Here's Fanny! wrote:The NASCAR race? You mean the Pikes Peak Hill Climb? I didn't realize that was a Nascar event. If that's case, then I guess you were here on the Fourth of July, in which case there might have been a few thunderstorms. But they're really not that common.

Btw, there is no possessive apostrophe in Pikes Peak. That drives me nuts!
Okay, so it's not a drive, it's a short putt. Ha!
Well, can I at least put a squiggly in there?
Pikes~Peak
Ha!
