But did she watch it yet? Or did a 50 year old musical win out?

Sorry, the musical won out as I Love Money ran from 10 - 11:30 and I was afraid I would fall asleep in the middle of it.

I'll check it out tonight, I promise!

I saw bits and pieces. What I saw was pretty hysterical. I love a good train wreck!

And it's not even entered the tunnel yet! Quick thoughts:

Hoopz has had a major attitude adjustment since FoL (for the better).

Funny how Chance has no problem stripping down to a bikini bottom, but won't take off his bandanna.

I've always thought Real was super hot, but was surprised that he seemed to have moobs and no body hair. It must have all migrated to his head. I don't recall that from the ILNY Beauty Pageant but, as I think back, I think he was in boxers and a robe the whole time.

Brandi C. has some major cankles, I don't know why I found that surprising.

I think Midget Mac was a total dick the entire time on purpose.

Megan has the longest distance from her navel to her lady bits of anybody I've ever seen, she looks like her parents were Modigliani and Chagall.

The Entertainer: Not much upstairs, but from there on down, Disneyland!

The host is a total, vapid waste. They should have gotten Riki Rachtman and Lala to co-host.

White Boy was stupid and Hoopz was smart. No way was Hoopz going to pick Chance or Boston, WB should have waited and stocked up on 12 Pack and Entertainer. Hoopz pretty much picked exactly as I would have.

And ha! for Heat pouting about being picked by Whiteboy. Hoopz was probably breathing a sigh of relief that she didn't have to take his whiny pseudo-Guido ass.
Spoiler
The teams being so off-balanced probably won't last for long, as in the coming attractions, Pumkin was wearing green most of the time and Rodeo was wearing a green tee once towards the end of the trailers, although it seemed to be a different shade and faded, so maybe it was just a personal tee she brought with her.

OK, I've seen references to ILM in several different threads. Would someone care to explain what it's all about and what channel is airing it?

FWIW while we were traveling I managed to catch episodes of "Wipeout" and "I Survived a Japanese Game Show!". Of the two the latter looks more interesting.

Probably not your cuppa, Ear. It's on VH1.

I'm pretty sure that my 'thoughts' post above will tell people whether this is their thing or not. Can't nobody say they weren't warned in advance, ha!

I'm not sure who all is hip to everybody and watched all the RoL, FoL and ILNY seasons besides me. I think Luuucy only watched RoL (although I told her to watch ILNY2) and I'm still stunned that BoB has watched any of it. I think Sliver is right along with me and watching everything that VH1 chooses to spew out.

And yet you cleverly avoid answering the question of how many of the shows you watched and how many of the contestants are familiar.

I only know the RoL ones and I watched some of FoL, season one, and I know the chick from ILNY, but none of the guys from her show. I have sadly large gaps in my knowledge base. The only solution is to catch the marathon of ILM I'm sure VH1 will be showing....a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

I'm not clever, I just simply missed that question. Where is it anyway?
The only show I ever watched much of was ILNY, so I'm learning about the other players.

You're spot on with your assessment from what I've seen of the first 30 minutes. Too many damn commercials. I keep flipping the channel during them and sometimes I 'm late getting back. I just had a Latte made with espresso, so I should have no problem staying awake!

I woke up at 3:30AM and turned the TV on and what did I see but Judge Judy!!

They're picking teams now. I'm thinking Midget Mac or Boston will be the first to go.

That's Chapman to you......

He wasn't here last night. I only had him over the weekend.
I'm a good influence on the child. He had his first meal at the table with us Sunday. Looks like he could use a few table manners!

Well, I wasn't too far off with my prediction. Mr Boston's voice just about puts me over the edge. I was surprised at the captains.

BTW, do we need spoilers or not?

I say no spoilers. All the people who get their panties in a wad over that kind of stuff don't watch this anyway. Besides, it was first run on Sunday! I just didn't want to give away the boot until you watched it.

I was kind of surprised as it became more and more apparent that Midget Mac was catching the first stage out of Dodge, since he was featured quite prominently in the publicity leading up to the premiere. But I was not unhappy. I'm thinking that he was being Crabby Appleton on purpose so he would get the boot.

I can't imagine that they signed on without knowing anything about the premise but, if that was the case, he might have decided that he didn't want to be the weak link on the physical stuff, so he took himself out of the equation.

More likely to me is that he just agreed to be on the first episode to get a little cash and a little publicity and a little vacation.

Mr. Boston makes me apeshit, but he's good for an occasional laugh, especially when his cluelessness rears its head and he comes out with some good ones.

Not too surprised at the captains and I think they're good ones. Hoopz is a competitor and she was going to win that challenge or bust. Whiteboy was a little more surprising, but I think it worked out for the best. And I wouldn't put it past the producers to fudge on the numbers a little on that. Although Hoopz clearly had the most money, several others looked to be neck and neck.

However, Whiteboy's team is just a cluster. The only decision I might have made differently if I were Hoopz would be to take Destiney before Toastee. But, she might have seen Charm School. Toastee's a former gymnast and she kicked ass on the obstacle course challenge in that show.

I definitely think Pumkin is going to the other team because all the teasers showed her in green. I'll have to look closer during the ads this week to see if I can see somebody else wearing gold who should be green.

Oh good, no spoilers. I'll probably be a day or two behind others anyway.

I don't know why they would spoil us with those stupid tee shirts, but I change it during commericals and missed most of that or just didn't pay attention! I'll do better next week since I'll sort of know who's who.

If I cast this show, I'd try to replace some of the duds with Buckwild, Lacey, Kristy Joe, Mr. Wise & It

I was surprised that Nibblz was on and not someone like Buckwild or Bootz, but I'm ultimately glad because Nibblz won't last long and Buckwild wears real thin, real fast.

I'm not sure that Lacey and Heather could co-exist without an atom splitting or something.

It would have been very entertaining, but Mr. Wise was a pale (ha!) imitation of Whiteboy. Now that Midget Mac is gone, The Entertainer is the only one there from ILNY2 and I think it's indicative of how weak that season was as compared to Season One. The only second season that I think surpassed the original was FoL2.

I could do without Megan and Brandi C. (I guess Brandi M. wasn't available) and I was sick of Pumkin before Charm School even aired.

I'm wondering if they couldn't really cast a true All-Star version because they need some cannon fodder for the first few weeks of elimination.

My early votes for the winner are Hoopz or Entertainer.
