Public property. City property. Event open to the public. She was "trespassing", ticketed and given a court date. Her crime? A sign that reads McCain = Bush. Interesting times we live in.

I can't get the video to play, but, assuming there's nothing else to it, this is quite awful. I just wonder if there's any more background, or if this is standard operating procedure for both candidates. Regardless, it stinks.

It was SOP for President Bush when making campaign stops and holding "town hall meetings". I don't know how it is among the Democrats these days, but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that they, too, would prefer to exclude "disruptive elements".
