I need to clarify a point. I was just kidding about being in my 60's. I was born in 1950 hence reversal of numbers in my handle. There were a lot of other Ulyssessssss when I signed up for my Hotmail account.

lol - I was waiting to see how long you'd hold out before 'fessing up, you old coot. I always thought it made more sense, if you're going to lie about your age, lie older, not younger. That way, people are impressed that you look that good instead of "oh, wow, she's had a rough life"

Who are you callin' an old coot? If I could remember who you are, I'd take you over my knee and give you a good spanking. Maybe I'll do it anyway.

You'll never catch me in those heels.

Just now saw this thread, for some reason. Yes, it can be done. Along with kusch and Margaret in July, we will also be halfway to this goal come December. One set of my grandparents made it to 64 years and my own folks made it to 55 or so (can't recall the exact year Dad died). "Till death do us part" has real meaning on both sides.

Congratulations to your parents, and I hope they have many more happy years together!
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Congrats to your folks, Uly!! We celebrated #41 last April...well, celebrated isn't quite right: We noted our forty-first.

I am late with this and Happy Anniversary to your folks.

I love it when the old people get to party and be appreciated and loved - especially when it embarrasses their children!
