Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 47 (corrected)

I've screwed up the days again. Today, June 24, is Julian date 176. August 10 is Julian date 223. 223 - 176 = 47. Obviously, the math skills are degrading as the wedding day approaches.

Looks like I won't get a chance to see a movie on the day of the shower. GW informed me that I'll have to stay at least long enough to run out to get some of the food and other stuff. One of the items will be an ice cream pizza made by a local ice cream parlor. Beyond that, I don't know what else there is. I'll probably lock myself in the bedroom with a couple of DVD's I haven't watched. First season of Night Court, some Dick Van Dyke shows, whatever. Stuff some towels under the door to keep out the estrogen. Maybe just lock into Spike Network for the duration.

Got HS fitted for his tux. He cleans up well. Also helped him do some shopping for his wedding gift. GW seems to think he has more money than he really does. Wanted him to get more of the registry items, or at least a bigger item. While I don't know his complete financial situation, he's not exactly working in a high-paying job. And at last report, they had cut back his hours. Brother or not, he can't afford to spend much for his sister.

Need to find the e-mail address of the photographer. The engagement photo I like is a little dark, and I wanted to ask if he can push the brightness a bit without washing out the one side that has better lighting.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

More details on the ice cream pizza, please. Enquiring minds and all that, you know.
