Here's a plug for the Atlanta audition:

And one for Vegas:

"We're looking for people from all walks of life, all ages," she notes, "and we're looking for people to definitely be themselves."
It makes it so much easier to reject the boring when they'll be themselves. :|

It appears my daughter and nephew are planning on the Minneapolis audition on 8/11. Maybe. When will details of time and place be posted or are they already?

They'll be posted whenever Skip the intern gets around to it.

According to leezagibbons.com, where she mentions her guest host stint, Leeza also says that TPTB will be adding one more city to the August auditions. It does not say which city, nor when it will be added.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

One week of guest hosting and TPTB are giving her inside information about upcoming auditions?

Hey, Leeza! What's the passing score on the written test?

She didn't mention Minneapolis in her post, which is dated June 12. My guess is that's the unnamed city.

Did we have any BBs going to the cattle call in Sacramento, today?

I know that's a long drive for our game-show-deprived Bored Buddies in the LA area... :P

I believe mellowmom said she was going. Other than that, I don't know.

Uh oh, it looks like Mellowmom family went there a day early. Hopefully they were back there again today. Better a day early than a day late. Until I read it was another Jackson near Sacramento I was wondering what they were doing in Mississippi.

Retroactive (unless an evening audition) good luck!

We arrived Sunday and stayed over night at the hotel casino. Jackson is about 130 miles away from Gilroy so it seemed smarter to just go up a day early and not have to worry about fighting traffic on the way up.

The first session started at 7am and people were allowed to start lining up around 5:30AM. I got there at 5:45AM and was number 143 in line. I know there were over 350 people in the first session.

You had to take two quizzes...one for the Movie Week and the general show quiz. Yotungest son, Tony and myself passed both tests. There were 7 of us that did that. I think I missed 3 or 4 questions on each test.

The whole process once we all got in the auditorium until they sent those of us who passed out the door to fill out our applications toook a little over two hours.

Good luck to all you BBers out there who will be auditioning.
