RIP MamaMittens

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Fri Jun 20, 2008 9:26 am

found her cold and palsied early this morning. I scooped her out and wrapped her in a soft cloth for warmth, but she gave a big shudder and left us for the Raibow Bridge.

Big J was still asleep, so I gently placed her back in her sleepbox, and we will discover her gone this evening when I get home. I do not look forward to that

She was a fun, interactive, warm hamster, a very good mother, raising 4 sons to adulthood. If Tigger and Bruce and the others over the Rainbow will keep an eye out for her please?

I can sense that Tigger is giving her nuzzles at this very moment. (No doubt, she tried to do that to Bruce on the appointed day, too, but he gave her such a look!) I'm sorry that Mama Mittens has left us, but I know she had a good life with much love. That's a pretty good deal for a hamster. I send condolences to you and Big J.

RIP, MamaMittens.

I'm glad her children are grown and not dependent on her any more.

Sorry to hear about this, Saucy. Pets are great but it sure hurts when you lose them.

Love, Mom

So very sorry - she has lots of good company in that big place in the sky. Give James a hug from me.
