Back in Annie's good graces

#1 Post by silvercamaro » Thu Jun 19, 2008 10:42 pm

As some of you know, Annie has been miffed for the past month because her name was edited out of a piece I wrote about our snake visitor, while Lizbit's name remained in print. I've made it up to her. The following is all about her, with no hint of Lizbit.

Annie does think, however, that I should have given her more credit for successfully completing her part of the job.

What a beautiful article! Even though you've been keeping us updated on Annie's progress, reading the saga again just brought tears to my eyes.

Give Annie some scritches from me, and doggie kisses from Josie. She's a star (and awfully fortunate to have a human like you in her life)!

Beautiful, Judy!

I don't think I realized how large that wound was, before!

Wonderful article. I hope the doctor does present that technique in a paper or lecture. It should become SOP for that type of wound.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Hey, Annie...you need an agent?

On second thought, forget it. It would be too much work - and I just don't have the balls to be a good negotiator.

I'll just lay around and cheer for you, if that's okay.
Go away, mouse, you're bothering me...

I've seen the photo from her original injury and was able to see the progress she had made in February. We said then that this had to be written up and hopefully published somewhere. The people involved in her recovery are truly remarkable (that, of course, has SC and Annie at the top of the list!)

awesome. Judy, that was beautifully written; are you sure Annie didn't ghostwrite it for you?

Annie assures me that if she had written it, it would have been better. She's probably right.

On the other hand, what were the chances that I could get a gig to write about my dogs and get paid for it? What a great country!

absolutely astoundingly wonderful article. Had me sobbing at work, even though I knew the story already.

So happy for Annie and you.

Note my new avatar, you silly squirrel. Miss Kay took this photo of me working on my laptop.

Are you going to argue with Miss Kay? I don't think so.

Hey, you wanna get together? PM me. I am new to the interspecies dating scene, but I'm willing to give it a whirl.

I can't get my laptop to work when tree sap drips on the keyboard, so I find it hard to believe you can operate that thing when it gets flooded with doggie drool....

I do think red-heads are kind of cute and all that, but I have to tell you that I am most definitely on the tall side for a squirrel. Maybe we could meet at Starbuck's, order a bowl of water, and just talk.

If I wanted to "just talk" I'd get a radio program.

Maybe you'd rather meet my sister Lizbit. She's kind of wild and squirrely in her own way.

Not to worry, Miss A1Mama. I'm not that kind of girl.

Now that I've said that, I bet I never hear from that red-haired squirrel again.
