QoD 061808B Double Play Wednesday “Broadway Baby”

Each of these items is the name of a play or musical that featured the Broadway debut of a major Hollywood star. I’ll provide you the name of the Broadway show and the year it debuted on Broadway, as well as a well-known movie for the star, you tell me the name of the star. 10 points for each one you get right.

1. Three Days of Rain (2006); Michael Collins (1996).
2. Wait Until Dark (1998); From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)
3. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1990); Body Heat (1981)
4. Brighton Beach Memoirs (1983); Ladyhawke (1985)
5. Proof (2000); Six Days, Seven Nights (1998)
6. The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? (2002); Murphy’s Romance (1985)
7. Grease (1994); The Exorcist (1973)
