I think I embarrassed GW on the jewelry/eyeglasses shopping trip mentioned in the wedding blog. Saw a sign on a women's clothing shop advertising a "convertible bra". Mr. Maleness here went off on a riff about those being two words that you wouldn't think go together. And what does it convert
to? Do you flip it around, wear it on your bottom instead of your top and use it to "lift and separate" back there, a Wonderbra and Wonderbum, all in one?
It was this last one that got to GW. I wasn't speaking quietly, and she might have been worried about others hearing me. She patiently explained that it was the straps that convert, so the bra can be used for off-the-shoulder tops as well as conventionally. She then added that once in a while, I remind her that underneath my normal exterior lurks a "guy". Lewd, rude and crude, that's me.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
