I did actually place a bet on Denis. His owners are old friends, with their daughter being in DD's class from kindergarten on. The husband was even her softball coach in 2nd & 3rd grade.

The day my BAM win aired, the outcome was announced in the local morning newspaper. By the time I arrived at school at 7:30 am, the Warrens already had flowers delivered to my desk. They are a class act.

I've never lost money betting on one of Bill's horses!

I wish I had had the gumption to bet- I called it earlier in the week that Big brown was not going to win the Belmont.

The instant the trainer made that ridiculous "it's a foregone conclusion" statement, I knew it wouldn't happen.

Last time we were in radio range on the way out, we heard Casino Drive had scratched. We expected to come home to a Triple Crown winner.

Not.

:(

I bet it'll be easier to find that video than Hillary's, and shorter too.
