Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 64

The invitations are in the mail. 90 of them. We shall see how many attendees there are. GW was too paranoid to wait for June 10 and the current set of wedding stamps, and also to wait for me to send them in tomorrow morning's mail on my way to work. RSVP date is July 7. Can't recall offhand when we have to give a head count to the venue.

The ladies are out getting their jewelry checked and cleaned, as well as some other shopping. I'm home cleaning, doing laundry, putting stuff away and taking care of the dog. The cats are sleeping, as usual, and can take care of themselves other than dispensing the kibble from the canister.

Achy again after yesterday's pressure washing. All but the highest peak of the house is done. That's on the side that nobody sees, and is the cleanest side of the house anyway. It'll wait. So now the cleaning will be dedicated to inside the house. Except maybe some touchup on the paint around our house number. It's on a wooden base attached to the house, and the paint on the wood has worn off. That'll wait till next week, or maybe one evening this week.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Are you going to get a cleaning professional to help on the inside? It's worth whatever you pay.

It's more de-cluttering than cleaning. We have a nasty tendency to make piles rather than put away or toss out. For instance, this morning while the ladies were out, I went through most of the past week's mail, which had been stacked up. Bad habit not to take care of it as it arrives, I know, but that's how we are.

It's not being helped by getting BD's stuff sorted and readied for moving. There are boxes in varying stages of fullness in the TV and living rooms, and unsorted stuff along with them. That's why one of my tasks is to sort out the basement, to make room for storing the packed boxes.

I'm cheap for the day-to-day stuff. I can handle dusting, rug steaming, vacuuming, window washing, etc., myself without paying someone else to do it. I just hate to put or toss things away.
