I swear I didn't make this up. A nude maid steals $40,000 worth of jewelry.

I'd say he's in trouble with his wife for a couple of things and has some 'splaining to do, if you ask me.

I'd love to hear that conversation...."You hired a nude maid and she stole all my jewelry?"

Should I ask where she hid it?

I assumed that she hid the jewelry with her cleaning supplies.

I predicted as soon as I heard it that Leno would make jokes about it tonight.

Why would you have $40,000. in jewels hanging around the house? Have they never heard of safe deposit boxes or a safe?

You're right, Leno has used this in his monologue the last 2 nights.

[cynic]
When the man's wife came home from vacation, she discovered $40,000 in jewelry missing from their bedroom.
I was waiting for the punch line that she stole $10,000 the first time she was there, $10,000 the next week, etc. Wonder how long the vacation was.
Police are investigating.
As well they should. I fearlessly predict that his story will unravel. But we'll probably never know. [/cynic]
