Today is Crack the Code Tuesday. The question is encoded, so you must solve the code first, in order to answer the question. If you want style points, answer in the same code. This game will close 24 hours from today's posting time. Good luck!

This is not my answer. I hope to be back with my answer later. I just wanted to tell you that, when I first looked at books and the internet, this is exactly what English looked like to me! So, I'm giving myself a pep talk and thinking that if I could figure out English, I can figure out code, too.

The down side is that most of those first books and web sites had pictures to give clues about what the words said.

I can do it, though. I'm smart. That's the kind of girl I am.

I think you have a typo in the clue: the second time you try to say 'language' you spell it 'mveysvyx' which would be 'oanguage'

No idea about the 'embedded clue,' so I will just guess that Navaho uses whistles? It is not one of my languages.

Is "jmdehu" correct? It should "points" but that should be "jmdehr" based on my cipher. Perhaps you reversed the U and S in the code? Or perhaps I did...

And then it happens again with "mveysvyx" which is earlier correctly encoded as "qveysvyx". You use the wrong L/M pair.

Hopefully I don't do the same below.

I hope that's right since I didn't come across a J in the puzzle and P wasn't used for any other letter, but there seems to be a lot of direct letter transposition. I couldn't find the embedded clue, but I'm more interested in finding hidden nuts...

And there were either a few typos in the puzzle, or another piece of the puzzle is just going over my little squirrel head...

Dear Mr. mr:

This was my answer. I posted it on my mom's desktop computer instead of my laptop, and then went outside to play. I did not notice until just now that she was signed in already, so it posted under her name. I am very sorry for the mistake. I hope you will count it as my answer (and give me any points that I may have earned,) but if you do not, I will accept your decision. If you want a note from my mom, I will ask her.

Thank you for your consideration,

Annie
