Somehow maintaining the Audition List this season is a lot more fun than it was last season. Congratulations to all Happy Card recipients. --Bob

Reading the list is a lot more fun this year too!

Congrats!

I think this is encouraging me to do what I was going to do anyway. I will just be more optimistic about it!

Go BBs!

Oh, and thanks for keeping the list BobManyNumbers!

Couldn't have done it without all of you. Thanks so much. I will definately keep you informed.

I felt odd posting while waiting for the card, They spoke in great detail about my nickname (LoudmouthLee), and I didn't want them to see me posting here. Was afraid that they'd see that I might take their money, and deny me.

I'm paranoid :)

Congratulations! Thank-you for posting the study guide too. We spent quite a bit of time testing ourselves with it, only to be given the exact same test we had taken four weeks earlier.

Yes, I've auditioned more times than anyone else here on the Bored. And in November 2003, I actually made it into the contestant pool, thanks to what I think was some lucky intervention by a poltergeist. But I tread water in that pool without getting The Call until the pool was flushed of old auditioners in May 2006. And so far I haven't been able to dive back in. :(

I'm sorry to bring up a sore subject, I hope it wasn't taboo to mention it. I was just curious. Btw, I am a curious she!

Oh, it's not taboo. Earendel was laughing because everyone knows about my quixotic question for the Hot Seat. Heck, it was even mentioned by the New York Times. 8)

And I apologize for using the wrong pronoun for you. :)

There ain't no such thing.

Ask away...we really don't bite. Well, Peababe might, given the opportunity, but I'm fairly certain she prefers being on the receiving end.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

What town?

Or you can PM me if you are not comfy saying here.

Hot Seat and I actually live in the same town.

I can give you a BAM clue. Our town was the site of a winning $1M answer.

Well, I was not quite saying the name of the town was the answer. The answer in question referred to a site in our town.

Maybe I will not answer it as yet in case our rabid BBs know what I am talking about.

I wonder if Hot Seat knows the answer to which I elude?

Spoiler
It took me a minute, but I'm thinking it had to be an Igor Sikorsky question? If not, I'm totally stumped.

That is it! My kids, who were quite a bit younger at the time were yelling the answer to the Q.

It all depends on what you know!
