RIP Harvey Korman

One of the funniest men in television ever. And he was great in Blazing Saddles as well.

Age 81.

How sad. I remember recently seeing Carol Burnett on Oprah and thinking how amazing it was that all the regulars on her show were still alive. Sadly, no more. He and Tim Conway were so hilarious together.

May he truly rest in peace.

I suggest when we want to post an RIP, we do a quick search for the name of the deceased. There is already a thread on Korman, and no need to start a new one. Or we could just look over this front page, in this case, as the original thread is not far down.

Thanks for future attempts at consolidation. It isn't that I mind clutter - irrelevant here - but that someone might miss comments if they only see one of the threads.

I loved to watch Harvey with Tim Conway - there are some good YouTube videos showing the two of them together, with Tim doing something totally goofy and Harvey trying in vain to keep a straight face.
