Thank God it's over. I could not believe we had close to 400 people come through Saturday and Sunday. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be and I was totally exhausted at the end of each day.

The official Master Gardener chairman is a great photographer. Here is a link to her pics of my house. Kitty even made the cut!

The house, the garden, the pool, the flowers, the new walk -- all are beautiful!

Kitty is absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

I was looking at all the windows, wondering which room I could claim as mine, if I moved in with you. I can clean floors, I can weed, I can train Kelby to do tricks, I can skim the pool, I can worship the cat. I'm versatile.

Is that a trampoline in the corner?

Did you have to feed the people who came through on the tour too?

Yep, a trampoline. We've had it since my kids were little. The grandchildren love it and would have killed me had I removed it!

Refreshments were optional & at my expense. I offered lemonade, cheese tray, mixed nuts and champagne.

Kitty is absolutely gorgeous.

We have very few, if any now that I think about it, photos of Kitty. Notice he is lounging in the dirt. I suppose it's nice and cool.

LOL! I won't even make you work, Cinderella.

I think the room that overlooks the pool would be just right for you.
It's the middle window upstairs on the rear of the house. The walls are Amethyst and it's quite soothing.

So, what's the deal here, BoB? You can just point me to a post if you've already given everybody the scoop previously.

It would ick me out to have a bunch of strange tromping through my digs. Then again, if I had those digs....

You're exactly right, however, SC is an animal lover so I figure it won't be a problem. Annie and Lizbet may think otherwise.

It's a volunteer thing. The Master Gardeners have a "committee" that sizes up the place and then decide if it's good enough
to be on their tour. They had 7 homes this year.
Raises money for scholarships for horticulture students.

Glad it went well! Having been one of those people (from hell as per Fannie) that tramp their way through other peoples houses just to see what the Jones's (or Harris's as the case may be...) are up to I rather thought this might prove a busy weekend.

I spent Saturday cutting up trees including 3 that ended up in the lake. Finished with the same number of fingers and toes attached that I started with so all in all a successful day.

Unfortunately we quickly learned that we did not have the equipment required to cut and then try to pull the trees out of the lake so those will have to remain there a bit longer. All we could do is trim the branches still above the surface for now.
