ABC has renewed The Rookie and Will Trent. They have also commissioned a pilot offshoot of The Rookie called The Rookie North which involves the oldest rookie in a Washington state police department.

Not exactly a renewal, but CBS has announced a new NCIS spinoff for this fall to be called NCIS: New York. LL Cool J will reprise his role as Agent Sam Hanna, who will be in charge of the New York office, with Scott Caan co-starring. (LL Cool J will guest star on next week's NCIS, which might lay the groundwork for the new series.) The new show will air Tuesday at 9, between the original NCIS and NCIS: Origin, which moves to 10.

What about NCIS: Sydney?

From what I've read, NCIS: Sydney has been renewed, but from this week's announcement, it won't be in the Tuesday night schedule with the other NCIS shows. My guess is that they will hold it until midseason.
