He’s too busy being president and whatnot to personally check all of his posts, and the staffer assigned that task failed in this case. He apologised to Tim Scott. He should be decent and apologise to the Obamas too.

If the President did not post it himself, then it was someone whom he authorized to access and edit the social media account. Trump uses this account to express himself directly to the public. It has his name on it. He owes it to the public to take responsibility, show some contrition, and reassure us that there has been some disciplinary action against this staffer.
