The first season of the Bosch spinoff has dropped on Prime Video with some guest appearances by Harry.
Recap:
The series is centered around Renee Ballard, an LAPD detective who was assigned to the cold-cases department after she dared to speak out against her colleague following an attempted assault. Ballard operated from the basement of the station and had barely a handful of volunteers and reserves to help her solve the cases. But that didn’t demotivate Ballard; instead, she felt all the more driven to prove her haters wrong. The team took on several cases throughout the series; some were solved quicker than the others.

Re: Ballard on Prime Video
Ballard was introduced a few years back by Michael Connelly. After her first book, which dealt a lot with the lack of respect she got from the male cops she worked with, she's been teaming with Harry Bosch. When Michael Connelly introduced the Bosch character, he decided to age Bosch (a Vietnam vet) to correspond with the length of time that passed between books. So, he's now in his 70s and pretty much retired, except for teaming with Ballard. Their books are now called the "Ballard and Bosch" books.

Re: Ballard on Prime Video
Prime Video has started production on a new series, Start of Watch, featuring Cameron Monaghan (shown below) (best known for playing the Joker on Gotham) as a rookie Harry Bosch. The series is set in 1991, and it's not known how much involvement Titus Welliver will have, perhaps in flash forwards such as they use on NCIS: Origins. Another Prime Video prequel series debuts in March, Young Sherlock, featuring Hero Fiennes Tiffin (Ralph Fiennes's nephew) as a 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes. Guy Ritchie will direct the Holmes series.
