RIP Ody

#1 Post by littlebeast13 » Fri Dec 19, 2025 10:57 pm

Woke up for work this evening perfectly normal. About an hour later, I hear him meowing like crazy and he was all wobbly. I rushed him to 15 miles to the nearest 24 hour vet, but it was internal bleeding, and in a 16 year old cat you just don't bother with surgery to find the issue. I had to have him put down....

I wish I could post pictures of him, but after yanking my blog down last month, embedding images from there doesn't seem to work anymore.

I had him since he was a 7 week old kitten..... this is so fucking hard.

I am only happy he is finally reunited with his brother Spilly and adopted brother Biskit.....

I will stop now, I am tired of crying...

My condolences, LB. Your posts over the years enshrine the love your kitties brought to your life.

Since I haven't posted a picture of the two furballs in a while....
This one pretty much sums up the Ody/Biskit relationship...

Ohhh my heart is aching.

Beast, you are the best fur baby parent ever. Ody, Spilly and Biskit hit the jackpot with your heart.

I will cry so you can rest.

I hate when that happens. I fully expect to kick the bucket before Fuzzbutt and Shadow, but I feel sorry for them.

I'm so sorry, lb. Losing a furbaby, whether suddenly or not, is always sad in the extreme. Remember and be happy for the time you had together.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Terribly sad to see this. Ody was part of the bored life for so long.

LB, I'm so sorry. Ody was a part of my life a long time; I thought he would be around forever.
