I voted for this. This is what he said he was going to do. And they are trying to get more help. They are recruiting more ICE agents.Weyoun wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 9:52 amhttps://newrepublic.com/post/202593/fed ... e4ZRIV70yg

As for the article, I believe the ICE version. For the same reasons I gave in the other thread. Any blame for things like this goes to the administration that decided to let 20+ million illegal aliens into this country. If they didn't do that, none of this would be happening.
As things progress it becomes more and more patently obvious that the border crisis was intentional for the purpose of being able to count these people into more democrat congressional seats, hopefully use them for votes, either legally or illegally, and creating a new dependent class for the democrats to exploit, since they know they are losing the black vote.
Since Trump is on the mission of fixing this problem, California, bob number's wonderful one communist party state, has put up a referendum to negate a recent law to restrict gerrymandering for the express purpose of artificially gerrymandering the state to further disenfranchise conservative citizens. The hell with rules and ethics. 40% of Californians voted for Trump. Currently, there are only 9 republican congresspeople to 43 democrats in California. Newsome wants to gerrymander that down to 5 republican seats. That's what good democrats do. It's a democracy, after all. (Or so they keep saying, incorrectly.) The majority gets to do whatever the fuck it wants to in a democracy.
We have got to deport all illegals or get them to self deport, or we risk becoming what the UK is rapidly becoming. A newly minted 3rd world country.

42 percent of Texans voted for Harris. There were 25 Republican and 13 Democratic districts, and they are trying to give the Republicans five more.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 2:27 pm40% of Californians voted for Trump. Re: Trump says ICE doesn’t go far enough
The face of the crackdown in our cities, Greg Bovino, was caught in a lie.
Border Patrol commander admitted he lied about tear gas incident, judge says, as she restricts use of force by immigration agents in Chicago
Bored progressives: Before you get excited, read the whole article. Bovino fabricated one detail: he claimed they used tear gas after he was struck by a rock, when in reality the tear gas was thrown before he was assaulted. This was hardly a mostly peaceful protest.
We should all maintain our skepticism and not believe our side before all the facts are known.

One of you 'progressives' (polite word for lunatic leftist), just one of you:
Please explain to me why it was absolutely necessary for the past administration to not only stop the progress of the border wall protecting our southern border from being arbitrarily crossed by anyone who decided they wanted to come here, but to allow at least 12 million and some say 20 million foreign nationals to come here and stay here and have influence on who gets elected here.
Give me a real, believable reason for this policy, which had never even been thought of before as being a sane thing to do for any soveriegn nation, much less some kind of necessity for our country. The 'asylum' excuse is BS, and everyone knows it.
Until you can do that, stuff the random propaganda against ICE up your buttholes. They are American Law Enforcement Agents doing their jobs cleaning up the criminality perpetrated by the previous administration. Any human suffering is the fault of the previous administation and their lawless policies. The people who are being deported have been given the opportunity to self deport. And many have taken advantage of this. The ones that aren't are, unfortunately, facing the consequences for breaking our immigration laws.

Here is a graph from the Pew Research Center, generally regarded as a reliable source, on unauthorized immigrants (they tried to find a neutral term) over the years:flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 09, 2025 11:07 amPlease explain to me why it was absolutely necessary for the past administration to not only stop the progress of the border wall protecting our southern border from being arbitrarily crossed by anyone who decided they wanted to come here, but to allow at least 12 million and some say 20 million foreign nationals to come here and stay here and have influence on who gets elected here.

Most of them arrived during previous administrations (of both parties). The number started to decrease under Trump, then shot up during the Biden years. More recently, the steep climb continued until mid-2024, then slowed a bit as Biden felt the political winds and cut back on asylum approvals. So the total that arrived in 2021-24 is closer to 6 million.
The increase wasn’t due to illegals sneaking across the southern border and hiding in U.S. cities. The government let them until their cases could be decided, rather than locking them up or making them wait in Mexico as Trump did. This was Biden’s policy decision that he was allowed to make under U.S. and international law. By electing Trump, the voters rejected that policy.
As for influence on elections, no immigrant (legal or illegal) may vote, and very few try, since they’d be deported immediately if caught. Another kind of influence, inflating the population of Democratic states and districts, isn’t an issue either, since election districts are based on the Trump 2020 census. In fact, those districts were probably undercounted, since many residents were afraid to give their information to anyone from the Trump administration.

There's a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. Would you like to make an offer? As for influence on elections, no immigrant (legal or illegal) may vote, and very few try, since they’d be deported immediately if caught.
An effort to add a question as to citizenship to the census was blocked by the democrats (big surprise, since they are against ANYTHING that will make elections somewhat secure). California has estimates of 2-10 extra seats in Congress and Electoral College votes due to Illegal Aliens. I really enjoyed this 'fact check' It makes great pains to highlight the leftist talking point about how the Constitution "does not refer to citizenship or residency status with regard to counting residents." (It excluded 'Indians' which kinda implies it only refers to citizens. Illegal Aliens were not much of an issue or probably not even defined back then. A 'living' Constitution which can be defined according to today's conditions is only a tool the left can use, I guess). Regardless, illegal aliens ARE affecting our elections. The vast majority of them SHOULD NOT BE HERE regardless of what administration let them in.Another kind of influence, inflating the population of Democratic states and districts, isn’t an issue either, since election districts are based on the Trump 2020 census. In fact, those districts were probably undercounted, since many residents were afraid to give their information to anyone from the Trump administration.
And this is not even mentioning that there is documented evidence of illegal aliens on the voter rolls and voting (This is just one).
I found one of the several I saw. This is pretty much up just the street from where I live. I believe it. The area I live in is well known for its illegal immigrant population, as it is one of the few 'sanctuary' places in Georgia. One other 'sanctuary' area is Athens. Where Laken Riley was murdered.
Just another unrelated question. Can we now start calling you leftist, progressive democrats 'communists' now, since your democrat party is rapidly becoming 'socialist' and endorsing and electing radicals like Mamdani? Or would that offend you?

Re: Trump says ICE doesn’t go far enough
If thousands of non-citizens are voting every election, many of them in red states, then why is it that we don't have thousands of arrests? Each year, there's only a handful of arrests, usually for someone voting in the name of a deceased relative or voting twice in two separate jurisdictions. This flood of illegal voters should be something an eagle-eyed poll worker like Flock could spot in two seconds. After all, his buddies had no problem finding an anonymous person whose face was obscured admit to it.

Good question! That's what I'd like to know. Too many election laws are being broken and NO MEMBER OF LAW ENFORCEMENT seems to care to enforce them. Perhaps they are concerned about Marc Elias or some other corrupt lawyer suing them. They do that, you know....If thousands of non-citizens are voting every election, many of them in red states, then why is it that we don't have thousands of arrests?

As Flock knows, the voter rolls are public information and include the voter’s name, age, home address and the last time they voted. ICE could be deporting them by the busload.silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Sun Nov 09, 2025 3:24 pmIf thousands of non-citizens are voting every election, many of them in red states, then why is it that we don't have thousands of arrests? I also know it is next to impossible to get ANYONE removed from the voter roll, no matter how much incontrovertible evidence you have. I've been there and done that. Have you?
Yes, the voter rolls are public information. In some states (like Florida) they are free, as they should be, since it costs NOTHING to distribute a computerized list derived from a database or queried from multiple databases. In my state it costs about $500 every time you want a copy. In some states (usually blue states) it costs THOUSANDS of dollars to get a copy of the voter roll. So much for 'public' information. And they intentionally limit the PII they distribute so they can claim 'fuzziness' in any challenge of registrations.
Have you ever looked at what's on your voter roll, jar? Or do you, like SSS, just take what your politicians, very few if any of them that have any IT or data analysis expertise, tell you about them? As I've said before: I don't think Brad Raffensperger, our Secretary of State, is lying to us about our 'cleanest voter roll in the country'. My 35 years of database management and analysis tells me I KNOW HE IS LYING TO US. But what do I know? Gabriel Sterling, a 'dumbass' (his words, not mine) who is running for Secretary of State next year, believes I am a hobbyist.
[Oh and FYI, the Fulton Board of Commissioners have broken every aspect of the law by refusing to appoint CURRENT board member, Julie Adams, and Jason Frazier, another 'hobbyist' who is the leading expert on the problems with the voter roll, to the Fulton County Board of Elections. I know how Julie and Jason feel from personal experience, but in their case, the law is unquestionably on their side. ]
Yes, we could find and remove Illegals from the voter rolls, if that data wasn't so securely protected by the Swamp. There is no way a private citizen can get any kind of list of non-citizens. And the local or state governments are restricted from that information as well. And they have no motivation to do so. Drivers Services in my state and throughout the country mostly do not care or require proof of citizenship. Only a checkbox relying on 'word of honor', a concept that is rapidly dying out in this country. Rattensperger gives lip service to it, but those of us who pay attention to facts have stopped believing anything he states long ago.
Yes, there is a lot I know about the voter rolls and the laws about it in my state. In other states, too, because I am in touch with EI people in several states. What amazes me is how much the average person DOESN'T know about it, and how much garbage and false information is being thrown at them by their elected and appointed representatives. And how totally stupid and petty they are to those of us who try and do our civic duty.
