Lyrically Speaking 10-30-25
This is a theme game, and the theme can be found in either the title, the quoted lyrics, or the artist name. For this one I will give five points for the exact theme or two points if you are at least on the right track.
1. Face to face, out on the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds still we take to the street
For the kill, with the skill to survive
2. I walked the world for you, babe
A thousand miles with you
I dried your tears of pain, babe
A million times for you
3. Every girl wants you to be her man
But I'll wait my dear 'til it's my turn
I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that
Oh, no
4. We can watch the working girls go by
Watch the basket people walk around and mumble
And stare out at the auburn sky
5. I was standing on the corner
When I heard my bulldog bark
He was barkin' at the two men who were gamblin'
In the dark
6. Gators got your granny
Everybody said it was a shame
Because her momma was a workin' on the chain gang
7. It’s just a question of when
Told you time and again
I'll get all the love you've been denying
8. The clothes she wears, her sexy ways
Make an old man wish for younger days, yeah, yeah
She knows she's built and knows how to please
Sure enough to knock a strong man to his knees
Bonus: What is the theme?

Re: Lyrically Speaking 10-30-25
I haven't looked at any of the previous games, but if you'd rather I didn't play them just let me know. I obviously don't care about points...ha!

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
Fanny Fun Fact: The theme song to the Rocky III movie was supposed to be Another One Bites the Dust, but Queen backed out at the last minute. So they tapped an unknown and said they needed the beat to match the Queen song because they already had filmed the footage. Listen to it in that vein and you can't unhear it! PS As much as I love Queen and that song (such a sick bass beat by Deacon), I think Eye of the Tiger fits the movie better. Plus, we all know that Glenn eventually became supervisor!
2. I walked the world for you, babe
A thousand miles with you
I dried your tears of pain, babe
A million times for you
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol
3. Every girl wants you to be her man
But I'll wait my dear 'til it's my turn
I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that
Oh, no
The Tide is High - Blondie
4. We can watch the working girls go by
Watch the basket people walk around and mumble
And stare out at the auburn sky
5. I was standing on the corner
When I heard my bulldog bark
He was barkin' at the two men who were gamblin'
In the dark
Stagger Lee - Lloyd Price
6. Gators got your granny
Everybody said it was a shame
Because her momma was a workin' on the chain gang
Polk Salad Annie - Tony Joe White
7. It’s just a question of when
Told you time and again
I'll get all the love you've been denying
Sooner or Later - Grass Roots
I think I've mentioned before how Rick Coonce was probably my first musical crush, but it bears repeating...
8. The clothes she wears, her sexy ways
Make an old man wish for younger days, yeah, yeah
She knows she's built and knows how to please
Sure enough to knock a strong man to his knees
Brick House - Commodores
Bonus: What is the theme?
Songs that were used in adverts
I know that's vague, but it's pretty much the only thing I can connect with most of them, but maybe I've just got Glenn the Supervisor making me say it...
