First met Sliver when we roomed in Birmingham? for auditions. I was already in the room and she came in and said she had had a potato peeler in her purse or luggage and made it through. We laffed and then did the phone game.
Well, then

The first part of this is about how Judy inspired a project I did on women and girls in sports.

This part of the project is all Judy.

Judy was truly extraordinary. She cheated death on the way to what should have been her WWTBAM appearance! A telephone pole fell on the hood of her car. The WWTBAM people accepted this excuse . . .
She was an excellent administrator for the University of Oklahoma, a superb performer with the Gridiron Club of Oklahoma City, a wonderful host when some of us visited to attend the Gridiron performance, a greyhound rescuer, super smart, a joy to know.

Had the wonderful honor of attending the Gridiron gathering Judy hosted five straight years from 2010-2014. While she never got to ride in it, she does have the distinction of being the only BB to ever be photographed with the Bored renowned LBN, which I clipped for her photo here...
I also got to meet three of her beloved dogs. My "girlfrien" Lizbit....
Bebe, having a tug of war with Lizzie...
And of course, Annie... who through Judy became the Bored's patron saint of four footers....
