RIP Sly Stone
Lead singer for the group, Sly and the Family Stone, who performed at Woodstock and became a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their songs included "Dance to the Music" and "Everyday People."
Age 82.

Back in the day when I was a sorority chick at Univ of Washington me and my posse would hop onto the dining room tables and sing and dance to Sly. It was epic!

I liked Sly. He was a great entertaininer, not just musician. Always put on a fun performance and seemed to love what he did.

I wish I had seen a concert of theirs. For evoking back in the day saw EWF at the Pavilion eatly 2000s and the Eisley Bros. Gotta say EWF is probably my fave.
