KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A Ukrainian drone attack has destroyed more than 40 Russian planes deep in Russia’s territory, Ukraine’s Security Service said on Sunday, while Moscow pounded Ukraine with missiles and drones just hours before a new round of direct peace talks in Istanbul.
Guess Zelensky had some cards after all, that he wisely withheld from Trump.

Ukraine claims new underwater bomb attack on Russia’s Crimean Bridge
This isn’t the first attack on the bridge or other targets in occupied Crimea. Significantly, it follows Trump’s assertion that Ukraine has no right to Crimea after surrendering it in 2014 without a fight. I don’t know what the final status of Crimea will be. Ukraine won’t give up their claim without significant concessions from Russia in return.

In the latest prisoner exchange, Russia included the bodies of twenty Russians and an Israeli (they couldn’t even get the war right). When Russia insisted all the dead they returned were Ukrainian, Ukraine displayed a Russian passport that was on one of the bodies. So if you criticize Biden or Trump or whomever for dissing war dead, remember it could be a whole lot worse.
