Our local library thought it would be a good idea to interview local authors and illustrators to talk about their craft and introduce them to potential readers. The series is called Flipping the Pages. My name came up recently and I sat down with the head librarian last week.
I was hesitant at first because I’m a bit camera shy, but I came around when I realized that I have a writer legacy (albeit a small one) to pass on and I should do it before my health makes it more difficult (I.e., before I get worse side effects).
I asked for and received the questions in advance so I would be prepared and not space out on camera. I almost succeeded. Twenty five minutes into it, I started to answer a question and the wheels came off and I drew the proverbial blank. I got back on track, but damage done. Thankfully, the tech was able to edit out the gaffe. I made an effort to speak clearly and mostly did, but you may have to turn it up a little. The camera didn’t bother me, but the huge stage light was intimidating and very bright, so I rarely looked away from the interviewer.

NIce interview. She asked some really good questions and you hit them out of the park. I enjoyed the insights in to the life (or work life) of a writer. I didn't notice any warts.
