Are You Ready for Some Football Down Under?
The NFL announced today that the Los Angeles Rams will play host to a 2026 regular season game to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. Date and opponent will be announced later.

The NFL will play a game in Ireland in the 2025 season. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be the designated home team. Under the current 17 game schedule format, AFC teams will have nine home games next season (and NFC teams will have nine in 2026). The NFL tries to select teams with nine home games to host international games so they will have at least eight actual home games in their stadiums. (Jacksonville has a separate international playing arrangement.)
