I have spent a lot of time lately in the (Sirius equipped) planter tractor.
Weekends are pretty pathetic to find stuff to listen too-even with Sirius. Oddly enough-I have listened to several golf tournaments-Not really a PGA fan-But.
Anyway, I found "Crime-Con" this weekend-the True Crime version of Comic-Con.
I am manifestly not a "True-Crime" fan-But I got into most of the forum speakers as it was the best thing I could find.-Serial killers and such.
I woke up in the middle of the night after some nightmares and decided-that is enough "True Crime" for me for awhile.

Listening to golf on the radio must be at least twice as bad as listening to baseball.

Not too bad really. I picked a couple of good weeks to listen.
Week 1-Rory came back from several strokes down in the final round to win.
Week 2-Scotty Schiffler (sp)-the current best golfer in the world-got arrested in a traffic kerfuffle involving traffic being rerouted after somebody was killed by a bus.
More on and off since then.

I don't know how you feel about podcasts, but I've been listening to "Data Over Dogma" recently, and enjoying it.

I don't have the ability to listen to podcasts remotely-as I only have a flip phone-but I listen on the computer when I am doing book work and such. I definitely understand that with baseball radio station my dad liked as a kid got really off topic during the off-season (named hot stove) (I love baseball, during the season). that was a pain to listen to in the morning. hilariously I do enjoy the masters and even though I began actually complaining about how announcers could do things better and issues with editing (as they show each play not the traditional sense) I do review the Masters over at Golden Road through a casual eye. but yes baseball radio is annoying. (this was a local channel not Sirius radio and I usually review the cbs Broadcast for golf not Radio)
