Furiosa is a Mad Movie

I saw Furiosa today, and it's a terrific prequel to the last Mad Max movie up until the last 20 minutes when they fail to stick the landing. But it's got a great first two hours. Actually star Anya Taylor-Joy doesn't appear until an hour into the movie, with the first hour showing what happened to her when she was kidnapped as a child (played by a different actress). I actually rewatched Mad Max: Fury Road again tonight, and it's amazing how closely the two films tie into each other. Many of the same characters (and actors) appear in both movies, and Furiosa ends literally minutes before Fury Road begins. Furiosa also has a great car and motorcycle and tanker truck chase scene halfway through. Chris Hemsworth also makes a terrific, over-the-top villain here with the appropriate name of Dementus.
