Are You Ready for Some College Football?

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Tue May 14, 2024 9:13 am

The NFL reveals its 2024 schedule tomorrow, but in the meantime, ABC and ESPN have announced some intriguing Game 1 matchups. The season kicks off August 24 from Ireland, with College Football Gameday going overseas for the first time before the Georgia Tech-FSU game at noon.

ABS has a tripleheader on August 31. Clemson/Georgia at noon, followed by Florida/Miami at 3:30 (this year ABC will carry the late afternoon SEC game instead of CBS) and Notre Dame/Texas A&M at 7:30. College Gameday will also air from College Station on August 31. The first Big 10 Saturday Night game on NBC will also air August 31 featuring Fresno State and Michigan. On Sunday, September 1, ABC will have USC/LSU at 7:30 pm. ESPN closes the weekend on Labor Day Sept. 2 with Boston College/FSU.

The networks typically announce TV coverage in the spring for the first three weeks of the college season. Subsequent game times and TV networks are announced 13 days in advance.

More than ready. MLB is not providing me much entertainment this year.

Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
