Brilliant Minds is a medical drama with Zachary Quinto about a team of doctors exploring the mysteries of the human mind, based on the career of Oliver Sacks. St. Denis Medical is a mockumentary comedy series set in a Portland hospital. Happy's Place stars Reba McIntire as a woman who inherits her father's restaurant and discovers a half-sister she never knew. Extended Family has been cancelled. Law & Order Organized Crime moves to Peacock. Deal or No Deal Island will return at midseason.

NBC announced her departure at the end of last season, although Tierney was only announced as a replacement this week. Neither Manheim nor the show has had anything specific to say about the change. The season's last episode didn't mention anything (like an impending transfer or retirement) that would explain a change, although they may mention her character briefly in the season opener to supply a reason she's no longer there. At the time, Manheim didn't announce any future projects. and nothing is listed on her IMDB page.
