I must have been getting you via telepathy. I was having so much fun, laughing and snorting, that I forgot how late it was. Jeff was snoring away while I was cavorting on the bored.kayrharris wrote:Shouldn't you be in bed asleep by now, bb, instead of causing trouble?I'm just askin'......

When otherindigo called me for her PaF, the question was:
What kind of animal is a titmouse? Fortunately, we have them at the bird feeder in the back yard, so I was able to help her out.

Haven't talked with her in a while. The school year is winding down, so she may be more bored-available soon.

At the group audition in San Antonio, way back when, the skinny one with the curly hair asked me to describe the wildest party I'd ever been to.
I told her it was a Halloween party, and mentioned the costume of the woman who was wearing tights and a leotard, with a tail attached to her rear-end and a pair of mouse ears on her head. There was a hole cut in the leotard, and her left boob was poking through it. Yeah, she was a titmouse.
I didn't mention that I had told the woman that I'd be happy to get a pair of scissors and modify her costume so she could say she was a tufted titmouse.
Did I mention that I never got a postcard?

You mean you were at the audiiton in San Antonio, and you didn't want to meet any of us? Beebs was there, I was there, TubaDave was there, and many, many more. You missed a fun group.wbtravis007 wrote:At the group audition in San Antonio, way back when, the skinny one with the curly hair asked me to describe the wildest party I'd ever been to.
Oh, yeah. I forgot. You don't seem to want to meet most of us.

Well, first of all, I didn't know y'all. I was standing in line to get in next to a real nice guy -- he went by TulsaBob -- and we talked a little about the board. He introduced me to WazzuKate while we were waiting to take the test. This was the night before your audition. (I know this because I paid attention when we talked about this before.)silvercamaro wrote:You mean you were at the audiiton in San Antonio, and you didn't want to meet any of us? As far as I know, TulsaBob was the only one invited from that first group. He didn't make the hotseat, though. Anybody else remember him, or know whether he ever made it to the hotseat?
Anyway, like I said, they never got back to me one way or the other. I'm still hoping to hear from them one of these days.
When you and others came to Houston, Pea let me know that y'all were coming. I was never really given any details, though, and I was moving that weekend. I also think I probably was on some people's "list."
Anyway, I'd love to meet you, and everybody else, for that matter. Maybe one of these days.

Bob is or was a dean at the University of Tulsa. As far as I have heard, he got one of the only two happy postcards from that audition, as they ended the prime time show soon after that and decided to switch to the multiple-choice test instead of the FF test for the syndicated show.wbtravis007 wrote:

Now, if you met WazzuKate, she was with us! All you had to do was say, "Hi, Kate! Mind if I sit down with you and your friends?"
You will have your chance. I don't know exactly when or where, but people do show up in Houston from time to time.... You're on the hook, now.Anyway, I'd love to meet you, and everybody else, for that matter. Maybe one of these days.
