Serial con artist George Anthony DeVolder Santos announced a few minutes ago that he will not seek re-election to Congress, just about an hour after the GOP-led House Ethics Committee released its report that he had indeed broken campaign finance laws. Santos survived an expulsion vote two weeks ago, but this ethics report may trigger another expulsion vote within the next few weeks.
He'll finally have more time to become a professional volleyball player or a drag bar karaoke singer or whatever.
Bye bye, Santos!

He won't be resigning, and they won't kick him out. A Democrat would probably win the special election to replace him, and the Republicans can't afford to lose any seats in the Hose right now.

House Ethics Committee Chair Michael Guest (R-MS) just filed the resolution an hour ago to expel Santos.
