Hawaii Fires

#1 Post by BackInTex » Thu Aug 10, 2023 2:52 pm

Mrs. BiT and I honeymooned on Maui in 1991. Lahaina was our favorite spot for relaxing. Seeing the pictures today is heartbreaking.

We are headed back to Hawaii next month to visit the big Isand for 5 days and Kauai for 5 days. We considered a return to Maui. I'm glad we didn't plan the trip there.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

Things may still be dicey then on the Big Island. And don't forget, lots of displaced people going to be looking for a place to stay.

So much worse than even a hurricane.
