I am really baffled by Pence's run for the Presidency. He surely must know that there is no lane for him. MAGA people will never forgive him for January 6 and mainstream Republicans won't (and shouldn't) overlook the four years of obsequious kowtowing he did at the 45th President's feet. His political career is dead. What am I missing?
