You don't have to wonder. Joe Biden has made many false claims about himself in the past. Elizabeth Warren, Ilhan Omar, and others. And the media (the conservative side) covered those. I'm sure there are more. Policticians in general (left or right), especially at the lower levels, tend to exagerate their qualifications. I don't know why they would in this day and age of finger-tip investigation.
