My favorite SVU character. One of these days, I'll look in on his Homicide: Life on the Streets episodes. I bet he's my favorite there too.

For some reason, it seems like Homicide is not streaming anywhere. It was a favorite of mine and had a terrific cast - In addition to Belzer, you had Ned Beatty, Yaphet Kotto, Melissa Leo, with Giancarlo Esposito and Michelle Forbes late in the run, and Andre Braugher who was electric in the role of Pembleton.
