Just in case this isn't on CNN or MSNBC.
Federal judge strikes down California's 'fee-shifting' gun control scheme, which echoed Texas abortion law
"'It is cynical. ‘It is an abomination.’ ‘It is outrageous and objectionable.’ ‘There is no dispute that it raises serious constitutional questions.’ ‘It is an unprecedented attempt to thwart judicial review,’" Benitez wrote in his opinion, quoting directly from Newsom's criticisms of the Texas abortion law.
I'm not necessarily 100% supportive of the Texas law, especially where it allows non-impacted parties to sue. But as I said earlier, Newson is putting his governmental hand firmly on his constituents heads to spite Texas. It does nothing to benefit his constiuents, it was just for his show.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

Agreed. It's the same reason I found Abbott's abortion law to be terrible, and DeSantis shipping refugees from a socialist dictatorship around to be terrible.

And Biden shipping them around the states is also bad, or nah?

Not that, say, Ron de Santis wouldn't do the same thing. Like de Santis, Newsome is maneuvering to run for President in 24 or 28.
