Re: RIP Mike Leach
Holy crap! I saw all the FB posts about this. This is truly sad, for his family, Mississippi State, and college football.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Re: RIP Mike Leach
One of a kind.
Massive heart attack on Sunday. Prolonged down time. Couldn't get flown to Jackson fast enough due to weather, and arrested again in the helicopter. Signs of anoxic brain injury, such as seizures, after that.
So, it was going to be a poor outcome.
There had been talk of him resigning or taking a sabbatical due to health concerns, also.

Re: RIP Mike Leach
One of the best things about Mike Leach was his interest in so many things. From Jackson Pollock to Daniel Boone. And pirates. Absolutely pirates.
His keen wit and sharp intellect will be missed on the college football front.

Re: RIP Mike Leach
I had never heard of Leach before-apparently I was missing some good stories.
Anyway, some might get a kick out of this one from a Washington rancher that I read on Twitter.
>>>>"Like many I have story about the pirate
@Coach_Leach
At a party WSU football fundraiser about 4 cattlemen including myself were chatting with him
He asked if anyone had a dip
One of the guys handed coach his Copenhagen
Then Leach launches into this long story
Hands waving talking a mile a minute all while tapping lid of Copenhagen
Story went forever
we all laughed
Then Leach takes leave of us to chat with others
Later that night my buddy realized Leach swiped his can of dip
Not sure if by accident or on purpose
