We get mail from AARP at 50 - do you have a similar group there?

I'm taking diclofenac for my arthritis. It's wonderful! There are contraindications and warnings of organ damage, but I haven't had a problem.

CARP, of course lol, but get it at 60. But I wasn’t retired at 60 so didn’t pay it any attention.

At least your notification came from an official government agency. I'm approaching Medicare age, which means I'm getting bombarded by ads for private Medicare Advantage plans. Many of them try to make themselves as anonymously official-looking as possible, with just one line of fine print hidden somewhere to state that they're not actually from the government.

To get the real, official Medicare & You Handbook, I had to search for it on the internet.

I keep getting bombarded, too, even though I have a Medicare Advantage plan. There are a lot of junky ones.

I've had Cigna's plan for several years. I've compared the ones available in my area, and none are better. Next year, even though they're getting paid less, their copays are lower, and their out-of-pocket cap is lower!
