This last spring, I performed an "Abortion" to try to save the life of the mother. I had a cow that was having trouble having a calf and I had to pull it out in pieces. First a hoof came out and a few various other small chunks came out.
I remember thinking when the hoof came off and out, about how many pro-choice people would be throwing up right then. The reality of abortion is not pretty.
I worked for hours with my arm deep inside her and I could not get it out. I could not get a vet to come and I ended up shooting the cow.
My point is, even the very small percentage of abortions done to save the life the of the mother are gross, stinky and a very ugly spectacle.
