Actor best known for playing Cpl. LeBeau on the TV series Hogan's Heroes. Clary, who was Jewish, spent over two years in Auschwitz during World War II during which time the rest of his family were executed by the Nazis. He survived because he could play the accordion and did so for the German soldiers at the camp. He was the last surviving principal cast member of Hogan's Heroes.

Clary and Werner Klemperer brought "authenticity" to a show that was basically a parody of Stalag 17.
