I remember him in Chisum, although it wasn't a particularly memorable role. He was a shopkeeper who gets killed in the Lincoln County War.
He was in the supporting cast of the Miracle Worker -- again, not an especially memorable role, but he did a great job with it.
So why do I remember him so clearly? I dunno.
