I generally get lost when I try to follow any of the games-but the Bamboree series of games is the first one that has appealed to me.
But-Harvest does not permit the time.
Anyway, got 3 stitches on the end of my left pinkie finger today earned while fixing the corn dryer. I
My boys are learning that the limiting factor to corn harvest is keeping the corn dryer going.
The fun part is running the combine and everybody likes that job-but you have to keep the dryer going to have a place to put the corn.
The youngest came home from Missoula for a week to help with corn harvest as he likes it.
Oh, and after I got my stitches I treated myself to buying a bottle of Ardbeg scotch. It is a really peaty, smoky brand and my allotted splash tonight was pure ambrosia. It turns out that I really like the peaty, smoky scotches to the extent that other kinds taste like water.
I have ordered Glencairn whisky glasses for a Christmas present. Might as well enjoy the hobby.
A splash of Scotch in the evenings and an occasional barber shave-the 2 things that add spice to life after age 50.
I have a friend that spent $300 on a bottle of Scotch-mine tonight was my most expensive at $100.
Gotta start a spreadsheet and keep track of what I like and whatnot.
